The iF3 was disappointed to learn today that functional fitness was not included in the short list of sports under consideration for inclusion in LA2028.
While this may affect the timeline on our goals, it does not change our ultimate mission nor does it shake our firmly rooted confidence that our sport belongs and will be included in the Olympic Games someday.
We are continuing to explore alternative avenues for entrance into LA2028 and will be heavily focusing on obtaining the necessary recognitions to make a strong bid for inclusion in Brisbane 2032.
